Aiding and abetting the murder of John Fegan otherwise Tegan, serjeant in 'Captain Ashe's Independents'. A number of armed sailors, thought to be a press gang, got into a horse ferry boat, followed by soldiers. Deceased took hold of the boat to prevent it from sailing. One sailor shot his musket to disperse soldiers. Navy riot. Prisoner belonged to the ship HMS Sandwich from Beaumaris, and probably not from Beaumaris himself. No indictment. more
