Claimed he had been appointed schoolmaster of a charity school which a Mr Ross was about to establish and asked for speciments of books for Mr Rees to inspect. Came back with a forged letter approving the same from Mr Rees and ordering the same for the school. Escaped from prison in May 1819. Prisoner aged 36. more
