Examination records a catalogue of thefts, implicating her aunt Sarah Ellis and her husband John Irish. Prisoner aged 14, originally from Wolverhampton, co. Staffs, claimed to have burgled a house near Wrexham. The owner took alarm and shot at her, her aunt and husband, and shot a child dead, which they buried in the night in a sheet near Wrexham churchyard. more
