Accused claimed she was forced to take the abortifacient by her father, who had earlier beaten her badly, and Mr Williams the proctor and his wife with whom she lived.. Accused pregnant by her father's husbandman whom she was willing to marry. Her father opposed the marriage. The abortifacient purchased by her father and Mr Williams in Holywell. more
