Murder of John Lloyd, Malpas, co. Chester, farmer. The prisoner and the deceased had been drinking together when a dispute arose between them that the prisoner had almost ridden his horse to death to borrow money to pay the rent, which he refuted and claimed that the deceased had not paid his rent. A fight ensued. Prisoner apprehended in London. more
