Murder of John Ralph, Overton, by beating and kicking him. Both prisoner and prosecutor had been drunk and had fought each other, during which time they fell onto a fire, but got up. Whilst the deceased sat in a chair, Willilam Green, Bradley, co. Chester?, carter, wanting to wake him up took a red hot coal from the fire and put it into the deceased's breeches between his legs. more
