Theft from the shop of wigs, razors and parcels of hair. Prosecutor's shop burgled but not indicted for this offence. Prosecutor sent letters to barbers and Scotsmen living in the neighbouring towns informing them of his loss. Prisoner sold the stolen goods to a Scotsman. more

Theft of flannel from prosecutor's tenters though not indicted for this. According to prisoner he took the flannel from a John Thomas of co. Denb. who took it from the tenters, to sell the same for the said John Thomas, he, the prisoner 'being a better Englishman' than John Thomas, for a fee of half a guinea. The flannel was sold to a miner and innholder in Worthen, co. Salop. more
