Bigamy - married Ellis Roberts, prosecutor's son, at Bala/Llanycil on 31 July 1803 and afterwards married Thomas Jones of Ysbyty Ifan at Gwyddelwern on 25 May 1811. Prisoner's first husband a private in the Merioneth militia stationed in Hampshire. Accused received a letter informing her of his death in Feb. 1810 and another letter sent by a fellow soldier informed recipient that the said Ellis Roberts had been very ill, but was now 'pretty well'. more
