Deceased, a petty constable, accompanied by another petty constable, had been apprehending the prisoner for a misdemeanour. The three men drank together at an inn. Prisoner absconded into a churchyard before they entered a second inn. Deceased struck on the head whilst re-apprehending the prisoner. more
