Accused demanded money from the latter under pretence of discovering the whereabouts of linen yarn stolen from his bleaching ground. Prisoner 'a cunning man who pretended to tell fortunes and help people to find out goods that were stolen'. He cut a pack of playing cards and declared that a black, stooping man had taken the goods.
