Murder of Edward Price, labourer, prosecutor's husband, by hitting him on the head with a piece of timber. Prisoner and deceased had been working at Chirk Castle; the former had been repairing the roof, the latter removing the rubbish thrown down from the battlements into the back yard. The prosecutor was informed of the incident by the postwoman. Inquest records chance-medley by misadventure. more
