Perjury by swearing that the bailiffs had held him in custody until he paid them one guinea for their trouble and expenses and until he entered into a bond or note of hand with two sureties to pay the prosecutor's costs. He also claimed that the prosecutor's attorney had said that he should not be discharged from the indictment until he consented to give up his mill and if he did not procure the two persons with himself to execute the bond for the costs, he should go to gaol.
