Part of the bark had been sold to Edward Williams, Newtown, innkeeper, the remainder being owned by Messrs Clarke and Williams, Ludlow, co. Salop, solicitors, who employed Edward Bluck, Mochdre, yeoman, to take care of the same. Evan Davies, bailiff, and William Brees, Llandinam, formerly of Aberhafesb, bailiff, implicated 'in the commission of the offence', but not indicted. more
