Food riot. After meeting with other colliers at Mostyn Hall, Whitford, who were going to stop the corn from going 'to sea' : breaking the windows of the dwelling house of John Evans, Rhuddlan, parish clerk; breaking open and drinking a hogshead of bottled cider at a creek called Foryd; carrying away corn and powdered sugar from the nearby storehouse owned by George Colley, Rhuddlan, gent/agent/corn dealer/merchant.
