Prisoner had volunteered to deliver a letter from William Parker, a private in the Third Regimant of Dragoons, Heyop, to his wife, Rebecca Parker, when the postman called at the Crown Inn to ask for directions. Prisoner then forged the amount due on receipt of the letter and obtained the money from Rebecca Parker. more
