Manslaughter of Richard Owen of the Ship Inn, Dolgellau, innkeeper on fair night after a scuffle. Inquest returned verdict of guilty. Deceased had suffered broken ribs six weeks previously by the hand of the prisoner, but died of 'inflamation of the bowells'. Bills of costs refer to manslaughter. more
