Theft of personal goods - a diamond breast pin, gold knee buckles, silver inkstand, silver shaving box, gold brooches etc. from prosecutor's library in his dwelling house. Prisoner employed by prosecutor for about a month and discharged about three weeks before the theft. Tried to sell stolen goods to a Bristol silversmith and watchmaker who suspected them to have been stolen. Prisoner aged 32. more
