Murder of Elizabeth George, otherwise Griffiths, widow, otherwise Old Bessy, who reputedly kept a bawdy house. Deceased had been found upon her bed 'in a very indecent manner'. Prisoner had entered deceased's house with his accomplice who offered her money to lie with him which she refused. Both prisoners kept her lying on her bed; she, being very asthmatic, died.
